Most people wait until something breaks to think clearly about their week. A missed deadline. A hard conversation with a spouse. A boss who finally asks the question you've been avoiding.
Self-coaching flips that pattern. It's the practice of sitting down, alone, for thirty minutes a week, and asking yourself the same questions a good coach would ask.
The habit is simple. Pick one day. Pick one time. Protect it the way you'd protect a workout.
Then work through four honest questions. What did I say I'd do last week, and did I do it? Where did I spend energy that didn't move the mission? What is the one hard thing I've been avoiding? And what is the smallest next step I can take on it this week?
Start this Sunday. Thirty minutes. Four questions. A single sheet of paper.
